AIT Director Brent Christensen Visits the DPP, Meeting Lin Hsi-yao and Lin Fei-fan
Brent Christensen, Director of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), visited the DPP today (21st), meeting with Secretary-General Lin Hsi-yao and Deputy Secretary-General Lin Fei-fan, with DPP Spokesperson Peifen Hsieh in attendance.
After the meeting, Peifen Hsieh reported Brent Christensen first thanked Lin Hsi-yao for taking over the important task of returning to be Secretary-General of the DPP. Brent Christensen also praised Taiwan for its clear success in pandemic prevention.
Peifen Hsieh said the two countries openly exchanged views on how to deepen political and economic relations under the current rapidly changing international situation. At this moment of inseparable relations with the US, the DPP looks forward to further deepening cooperation with the US and other like-minded countries.
